Rotondo Weirich Launches Quarterly Newsletter |
| In October 2005, Rotondo Weirich launched a quarterly newsletter. The intention of this publication is to further our mission to provide the industry's best service and product. The first volume included articles and editorial on current projects, market trends, methods, and construction delivery. TV Appearance- National Geographic Channel |
| The North Branch Correctional Institution in Cumberland, MD is the subject of a 'MegaStructures' episode to air September 27, 2005 at 8pm. The series will also air at 11pm and on October 2 and 4. RW provided the cell units for this landmark facility, and production crews interviewed our staff and went on location at our casting facilities in preparation for the program. RW-Pollock Receives PCI Plant Certification |
| We are pleased to announce that Rotondo Weirich, Pollock, LA, has earned certification in the PCI Plant Certification Program. Our plant equipment, operations, personnel, and procedures have passed rigid inspection by an independent consulting engineering firm retained by PCI. Thus we have been awarded the distinction of "PCI Certified Plant". Certification means that Rotondo Weirich, Pollock, LA has successfully demonstrated the capability to produce quality precast and prestressed concrete products. We are very proud of our accomplishment. The PCI Plant Certification Program is in its 30+ years. |

California Design/Build Prison Addition Underway |
| Chickasaw Nation Industries/ Flintco, a design/builder from Tulsa, OK has selected Rotondo Weirich of Lederach, PA to construct the precast concrete prison cells for a special housing unit project in Lompoc, CA. This addition at the United States Penetentiary at Lompoc will house medium security inmates within the Federal Bureau of Prisons system. The architect for the project is RNL Design of Los Angeles, and the structural engineer for the project is Buehler & Buehler of Sacramento. Rotondo Weirich will be casting and finishing the cells for the project from Structurecast, a Bakersfield, CA precast company. Cells will be transported to the project site complete with interior paint, fixtures, windows, doors and frames. Rotondo Weirich will begin casting the precast modular cells in the 1st quarter of 2005. |

FBOP- Pollock Cell Production Underway |
| RW's onsite casting facility at the Bureau of Prison's FCI- Pollock construction site recently commenced production of the project's 864 cell units. RW is providing both quad cell modules and double cell modules to accomodate the project's design. The cells are being finished with stainless steel windows, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, paint systems, etc. |

RW Selected for State of Maryland Project |
| RW has received an award from fellow Pennsylvania contractor Dick Corporation to construct the inmate housing units of the North Branch Correctional Institute, a new prison expansion for the state in Cumberland, MD. See full story in RW Press Releases. |

Merrimack County, NH Project Update |
| RW is currently casting the precast cells for the Merrimack County House of Correction, and recently (January) had General Contractor Granger Northern, Inc., Architect and Engineer of Record SMRT, owner’s representative Ricci-Greene Associates, distinguished members of the county, etc. out to our Milford, NH plant for review of the first finished piece. With their approval, as RW has tailored the precast pieces to be specific to Merrimack County's needs, RW has continued production for earliest delivery of the modules to the jobsite. Casting is scheduled to continue until mid-April. |

RW Motorsports Season Opener- Phoenix, AZ |
| RW Motorsports USAC Silver Crown Race Team will begin its 6th season of Auto Racing on March 19-21st at Phoenix International Raceway. This year's team will feature two asphalt cars and two drivers for select appearances. Rich Tobias will continue to pilot the #17 car as he drove the team to a 6th place entrant championship finish in the 2003 year and claimed a feature win at DuQuoin in September. RW Production Complete in Tucson, AZ |
| Rotondo Weirich erected the last of the housing unit modules for the U.S. Department of Justice- Bureau of Prisons project in Tucson, AZ. RW's erection crew finished setting the cells in December 2003. Please see the projects page and click on USP-Tucson for pictures and details! |
