The official Ground Breaking ceremony for the new Garland County Detention Center was held Thursday in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

RW hosted delegates from five Latin American countries earlier this month,giving them an education on prison construction in America and precast cells.

Rotondo Weirich’s (RW) UAE partner company, RW Middle East, has started work on an investment housing contract awarded to the Iraqi Developer Sama Al Douh Contracting and Real Estate Investments by the Iraqi Ministry of Housing.

The fast track construction of 1,308 homes is scheduled to begin 4^th quarter 2012.

Precast modular construction technology is now available to Australia

The 2,500 ft² precast concrete demonstration villa is complete with interior finishes and open for tours.

The Bledsoe County project was an expansion to an existing facility, the Southeastern Tennessee State Regional Correctional Facility, located in Pikeville, Bledsoe County TN, about 2.5 hours east of Nashville, TN. The addition consisted of five buildings containing 632 cells produced in a total of 156 quad cell modules and 4 double cell modules.

Chris Heverly has been promoted to Chief Estimator.  In this role, Chris will lead the efforts of the estimating team, and be responsible for preparing the price estimates for all RW proposals.

Bill’s promotion is a result of his outstanding contribution to the business development efforts at RW and his emergence as a leader in the organization.

Carrie Davis has been promoted to Vice President of Corporate Development. Carrie is in her tenth year at Rotondo Weirich, and has served as Chief Estimator since 2005.
