LA - OPCSO IPC Templeman III & IV Replacement

RW has set up the mobile manufacturing site in Baton Rouge, LA. The modules will them be transported to New Orleans for erection.
The 600 fully finished cells consist of 280 double-cell modules and 40 single-cell modules.
Iraq - Villa

RW and RWME have built our first Villa in Southern Iraq. The 6-room villa will be used as a model home to demonstrate the durability, strength, and secure nature of precast concrete modular construction as opposed to traditional masonry construction.
The model villa is complete with interior finishes, electrical, and plumbing, and is open for demonstration and viewing. To schedule a tour of the villa, contact Bill Franklin.
RW's vision is to produce thousands of the modular precast villas to provide high quality, affordable housing for citizens of Southern Iraq.

RW is happy to be working wtih Hensel Phelps, Argenta Architecture, and The GEO Group on another project. This particular project is unique in that RW has adapted our molds to create storage rooms, showers, and dorms.

RW is working with subcontractor Newcrete Products, a longtime partner in the industry, to deliver quality cell modules for this project. Casting began last November for the 1126 fully finished precast modular cells, produced in quad and double unit configurations, with fully outfitted chases. The erecting of cells began in May, 2011.
The SCI Benner Township project is the first project we are building for Hensel Phelps, and we are happy to be a part of this landmark project for our home state.

RW has incorporated a schedule for production which includes day and evening shift work to best maximize production. We are providing fully finished prison cell modules with chase outfitting that includes mechanical and plumbing in all cell service chases.
This is the first time RW has worked with Hunt Construction Group, Shenkel Shultz Architecture, and the GEO Group.

RW in Bledsoe: Onsite Manufacturing & Local Economic Impact
The RW onsite team has begun casting of modular cells for the new facility expansion for the Bledsoe County Correctional Complex in Pikeville, TN. RW’s onsite manufacturing model selected for this project provides a substantial positive economic impact for the local community: providing employment and training as well as utilizing local businesses and contractors for the production and finish of the cell modules.
At the project’s inception, the RW Project Team organized a series of job fairs in conjunction with County Officials to expand the exposure of local job opportunities at the onsite manufacturing facility. At full production, 75% of the manufacturing facility’s staff will be employed from the local community.
Additionally, it is typical that over 60% of the raw materials required for the production of cell modules are procured from local suppliers. The percentage is the same for the number of local subcontractors utilized within the RW manufacturing facility.
The RW onsite manufacturing model brings the quality and efficiency of a manufacturing factory to the local project site, investing within the surrounding community through the hiring of a project specific labor force, utilization of local subcontractors, supplies and services.
The Bledsoe County project is an expansion to an existing facility, the Southeastern Tennessee State Regional Correctional Facility, located in Pikeville, Bledsoe County TN, about 2.5 hours east of Nashville, TN. The addition consists of five buildings containing 632 cells produced in a total of 156 quad cell modules and 4 double cell modules.
The Project Team review of the first mock-up precast cell module was held in mid-July with continuous casting starting directly after.
Ocean County Jail Expansion

RW was awarded the precast modular cell package by the New Jersey Department of Corrections. The cell modules were produced at the NewCrete/New Enterprise Stone and Lime, Inc. facility in Roaring Springs, PA. The facility expansion spans a total of 9 levels, inclusive of cells and plenums.
RW's precast cell modules were combined with architectural precast elements to provide an exterior aesthetic that was consistent with the surrounding buildings.
